Donald "Don" Beathard

Donald "Don" Beathard, 86, of Vidor died Saturday, June 10th, 2023 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a retired member of the Unite States Air Force. He served during Vietnam as a Pilot. Don loved woodworking and was an avid reader. He enjoyed working on the farm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with the service to follow at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 15th, also at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Don is survived by his son Steven Beathard and wife Jennifer of Plano, TX, and his brother Gerald Beathard and wife Betty of Houston, TX, as well as four grandchildren Briana, Madison, McKenna and Merritt and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Sue Beathard and his daughter Kaye Harvey. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warriors Family Support.
