Donald Lee Carmane

Donald "Don" Lee Carmane, 71, of Vidor died Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 at his residence. A native of Fort Worth, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Don retired after 42 years from Flint Hills as a process operator. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam conflict. Don enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a fellowship at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home. Don was preceded in death by his parents JB and Emily Carmane. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Bami Carmane, son Dylan Carmane and stepson Brian Haney all of Vidor, TX, bonus kids Terry DeGregory of Mauriceville, TX and LJ Gonsoulin of Jensen Beach, FL, sister Diane McCreight of Groesbeck, TX, brothers John Carmane of Azle, TX and Mickey Carmane of Ft. Worth, TX, 2 grandchildren Daelyn Carmane and Spencer Haney.
