Donald Wayne Kourtney, Sr.

Donald W. Kourtney, Sr., born April 28, 1966 in Beaumont, TX., died Sunday, May 13, 2007 in Vidor, TX. A longtime resident of Vidor, he attended school in Vidor, and was an officer with the Orange County Sheriff Department. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Oretta Cemetery in Oretta, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, and all day on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his brother James Cowboy Kourtney. He is survived by his son Donald Wayne DJ Kourtney, Jr and his mother Vena Teal Kourtney both of Hartburg, TX., step-son Adam Wes Hughes of Hartburg, father James Kourtney of Vidor, mother Charlotte Davis and step-father Tootsie of Vidor, sisters Shelly Byrd of Vidor, and Edith Baumgardner of Nederland, grandmother Louise Bradley of Orange, step-brothers Raymond Davis, Jessie Davis, and Ricky Davis, and step-sister Sherry Speight.
