Doris Dorothy Haire

Doris Dougherty-Haire, 76 of Vidor, TX died Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX. A native of Lake Placid, NY she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Doris was a member of the Harvest Chapel in West Orange, TX and loved her dog "Little Man". She enjoyed reading and visiting with her friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Doris is survived by 1 sister; Dolores Englert of Boulder, CO, 1 brother; Daniel Dougherty of Lake Placid, NY, 2 sons; Thomas A Lewis of FL, and Michael Crate. She is also survived by 1 sister-in-law; Beverly J. Roache of Killeen, TX along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her husband; Samuel Haire, father; William Dougherty, mother; Viconda Vanette-Dougherty and 1 son; Matthew Crate.
