Dorothy Tortoris

Marie "Dorothy" Tortoris, 91, of Vidor died Thursday, March 31st, 2022 at her residence in Vidor, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. She was a loving homemaker and her family meant everything to her. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Sunday April 3rd, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The Funeral Liturgy Outside Mass will be held Monday April 4th, 2022 at 2:00 PM also at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Dorothy is survived by her children Reed Williams, Mary Willmore, Anna Tortoris, Gina and Ben Sherman, Roxane and Ivan Mobley, Lisa Tortoris, Chris and Terrisa Tortoris as well as 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren, and her sister Rita Hunt. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Tortoris.
