Douglas Big "O" Carlton Taylor

Douglas Big “O” Carlton Taylor, 67, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas.

A native of Beaumont, Douglas was a longtime resident of Vidor and also spent three years living at Toledo Bend, a place he truly enjoyed. He retired as a heavy equipment operator after many years of dedicated work. In his free time, Douglas loved crappie fishing and playing the guitar—simple joys that brought him peace and happiness. Above all, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ and lived his life guided by his faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debbie Taylor of Vidor, Texas; his sisters, Pamela Adams of Vidor, Texas, and Cathy Cozart and husband Ronnie of Vidor, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Red and Jo Taylor.

Douglas will be fondly remembered for his strong faith, steady work ethic, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
