Dovie A. Frederick

Dovie A. Frederick, 95, of Vidor died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at her daughters residence in Vidor. A native of Vandervoort, AR., she was a longtime resident of Vidor, and was a retired grocery store clerk with Jacks Pak-it. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Dovie was preceded in death by her husband Bill Frederick, parents Charles and Ophelia Jackson, brothers Woodrow Wilson, Clint Wilson, Harold Wilson, and Clarence Wilson, and sister Helen Harp and longtime friend Bob Quick. Dovie is survived by her daughters Karen Sue Davis and husband Bill of Vidor, and Rhonda Kay Wegner and husband Sonny of Georgetown, TX., three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
