In his own words, “Medicine was not just his job, but it was his passion.” His dedication to honing his craft speaks to his hard-working spirit and intelligence, as well as the love he had for being a doctor. He was a rare gem in the medical field as he truly cared about helping the person and went out of his way to be kind. His influence in the medical world will live on, and the deep impact he has had on his patients and fellow medical colleagues will not be forgotten. Many looked up to Dr. Bowell as an inspiration and a mentor, and his loss will be deeply felt both professionally and in his personal life.

Dr. Bowell was an avid golfer, and his game was never lacking. If you couldn’t find him, odds were that he was either drinking a cold beer or breaking par on the course!

Dr. Bowell will be missed more than can be expressed in words. He is loved and will continue to be loved by all those whose lives he touched.
