Edith Louise Howard

Edith Louise Howard, 79, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Focused Care at Orange Nursing Home. A native of Dallas, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Vidor.

Edith worked many years as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Beaumont before retiring. She had a love for gardening and found joy and comfort in caring for her beloved Dachshund dogs.

She is survived by her children: Richard Howard and wife Suki of Buna, TX, Robert Howard and wife Carlene of Mauriceville, TX, Ronald Howard of Vidor, TX, Randall Howard of Vidor, TX, and Robin Howard of Vidor, TX; siblings: Tommy Stites of Vidor, TX, Norma Richard of Woodville, TX, and John Michael Stites of Vidor, TX. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who brought her great pride and joy.

Edith will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
