Edna L. Croak

Edna L. Croak, 94, of Vidor died Friday, February 9, 2007 at Oak Wood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Cullman, AL, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Edna was a Dietician for the Vidor I.S.D. for over 36 years and was a charter member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2006 at First United Methodist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth L. Croak, son Ivan “Butch” Croak and granddaughter Kaye Harvey. She is survived by her son Pete Croak and his wife Shirley of Vidor, TX, daughters Sue Beathard and her husband Donald of Vidor, TX, Millie Laidacker and her husband Michael of Beaumont, TX, daughter-in-law Betty Croak of Vidor, TX, brother Jim Tilley of Sulphur, LA, sisters Marge Haggan and Charliene Friedlyn both of Port Arthur, TX, grandchildren Steven Beathard, Kenny Croak, David Croak, Peter Dwain Croak, Kevin Croak, Monica Laidacker, Margot Laidacker, great grandchildren Briana Harvey, Trent Croak, Bailey Croak, Kadin Croak, Riley Sellers, Shane Croak, Brad Croak, Laykin Croak, Madison Beathard, McKenna Beathard, Merritt Beathard and her loving care givers and friends Ruby Hannah and Aline Copeland.
