Ellen Bean

Ellen Bean, 78, of Beaumont, Texas died Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. She was a loving and devoted homemaker and had worked as the librarian for the Kountze Library for many years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a graveside service 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 8th, 2023 at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze, Texas. Ellen is survived by her children, Robin Phillips and husband Chris of Texas, Thomas Bean of Washington, and Chris Bean and wife Kimberly of Colorado, her grandchildren Emma, Kathrine, Marianne and Adeline Bean of Colorado, Alex Waller and girlfriend Dana Puente of Texas, Christopher Murray of Germany, and Connor and Tegan Phillips of Texas, her brother and sisters-in-law Tommy and Linda Smith of New Mexico and Cheryl Bean of Texas, nephews Jason Smith of Colorado, and Sean McSwain of Taiwan.
