Elmer Lee Castilaw Jr.

Elmer Lee Castilaw Jr., 78, of Beaumont, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his home.

A longtime resident of Beaumont, Elmer proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was known for his love of cooking and hunting, hobbies he enjoyed throughout his life and often shared with family and friends. Elmer will be remembered for his quiet strength, steady presence, and the simple joys he found in life.

He is survived by his brother, David Castilaw of Beaumont, Texas; sister, Lois Thompson of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and Paulie Jennings of Vidor, Texas. He also leaves behind two grandchildren to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Haroldine Castilaw; his daughter, Crystal Halbert; and his sister, Sandra Pye.

Elmer’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
