Elmo Peveto

Elmo Peveto, 65, a longtime resident of Vidor, passed away on April 3, 2023, at his home. He was a man who loved the outdoors, spending much of his time fishing and hunting. Elmo also had a passion for tools and building trucks and motorcycles. He was skilled in leatherworking and carving and making knives.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor and the family will have a memorial service for Elmo on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor beginning at 3:00 PM.

Elmo is survived by his daughter, Ashley Peveto, his son, Shad Brown, his sister, Glenda Pierce, and his brother, Cecil Peveto. He is also survived by his grandson, Austin Kelly.

Elmo was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Michael Peveto, his sister, Phylis Jo Long, and his brother, Eric Keith Peveto.

Elmo will be remembered as a kind and generous man who loved his family and the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
