Emily Thomas Green

Emily Thomas Green, 94, of Beaumont died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her residence. A native of Vidor, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Beaumont in 2005. Emily is a member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor and retired as a clerk from the US Post Office in Vidor after 30 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. Emily was preceded in death by her husband Sam Green, daughter Jamie Estes, grandson Glen Gray, granddaughter Ashley Dollinger, 3 sisters, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Gale Dollinger and husband Jed of Beaumont, TX, 3 grandchildren Tina Denton and husband Rickey of Beaumont, TX, Mike Gray and wife Lisa of Cleburne, TX, Jessica Lynn and husband Matthew of Spring, TX, 5 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and special granddaughter Tania Gray. special thank you to her sitters Barbara Culp, Dorothy Demary, Hula Moss and Millie Havard with A1 sitters.
