George Rutledge, Sr.

George Rutledge, Sr., 74 of Mauriceville died Friday, June 8, 2007 at his residence. A native of Rosedale, TX., he lived in Beaumont, for 50 years before moving to Mauriceville 3 years ago. He loved going fishing, and playing poker. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Joyce Rutledge of Mauriceville, son Duke Rutledge and his wife Teresa of Taylors, SC., daughters Cynthia Dunwoody, and Debra Cole and her husband Wayne all of Vidor, three brothers, and five sisters, six grandchildren: Amy, Amanda, Erica, Andrew, “J.B.”, and Georgie, and nine great grandchildren: Devin, Daryn, Kota, Katie, Kylie “Talulla“, Justin, Bubbie, Cayden, and Raygen. “Paw-Paw George will be greatly missed”.
