George D. Wilkinson, born July 26, 1943, passed away on December 6, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. A longtime resident of Vidor, George was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. He enjoyed a successful career as a food broker and later became the proud owner and operator of Faye’s Catfish Kitchen, where his love for good food and good company shined.

George especially loved cooking crawfish, a passion that earned him the affectionate title of “the crawfish man” throughout the community. His warm personality, generosity, and love for serving others will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

George is survived by his wife of 30 years, Faye Gotreaux of Vidor, TX; his son, Todd Wilkinson and wife Shelly of Vidor, TX; his daughters, Page Brandt and Kim Drury, Jennifer Corley; numerous siblings, nieces, and nephews; along with 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and the many memories shared with family and friends.
