Glen William Rollins Sr., 76, of Vidor, died Sunday, March 6th, 2022 at his home. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor. He served his country with the US Army. Glen was the owner and operator of Glen's Automotive. He loved being a mechanic and was his favorite past time. Along with working on cars he also enjoyed racing them on dirt tracks and was in a band in his younger years and loved playing guitar as well. Cremation arrangements are entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Glen's memorial service will be Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor at 2:00 PM. He is survived by his children Glen Rollins Jr. of Madisonville, LA, James Rollins of Panama City, FL, Bekah Rollins of Vidor, TX, Trish Slaven Munson Charlotte, NC, Shane Slaven of St. Louis, MO, Jamey Forty of Baton Rouge, LA, Robert Rollins of Braman, OK, and Christine Jemison of Chicago, IL, siblings Janice Kielian of Omaha, AR, Melissa Timberlake of Vidor, TX, and Roger Rollins of Beaumont, TX, and 11 grandchildren. To ensure the funeral pays tribute to Mr. Glen W. Rollins Sr, the family is humbly requesting support for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers. Donations may be made to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
