Glenn Boyd West

September 22, 1956 — August 18, 2023

Glenn Boyd West, aged 66, passed away peacefully at his residence in Vidor on Friday, August 18th, 2023. He had been a cherished and active member of the Vidor community for many years.

Glenn's roots were deeply intertwined with Vidor, where he spent a significant portion of his life. He held the position of Warehouse Manager for Thermacon before retiring, and his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the company.

He held a special place in his heart for Vidor football, especially for the band that added vibrant rhythms to the games he enjoyed.

Glenn's passion for fishing was a source of relaxation and contentment for him. The tranquil moments by the water, waiting for the tug of a fish on the line, brought him a sense of peace.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Linda West of Vidor, TX, with whom he shared a journey marked by love, companionship, and shared experiences.

His legacy lives on through his daughters, Bennye Smith of Pine Forest, TX, and Lauri Arrington of Vidor, TX, whose lives he enriched with his wisdom and care.
