Glenn Peveto, 86, of Vidor, Texas died Thursday, September 21st, 2023 at his residence. Glenn was the son of William Carroll Peveto & Florence Juanita Duhon Peveto, grandson of James Monroe Peveto & Mary Ann Winfree Peveto, Great grandson of Michael & Elizabeth Farque Peveto, 2nd great grandson of DeJean & Olivia Granger Peveto 3rd great grandson of Jean & Pauline "Polly" Linscomb Peveto. He retired from service with the United States Air Force and had worked for the Mabary Industrial company in Beaumont, Texas for over 30 years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, October 2, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral service will begin 2:00 PM Monday, October 2, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at 1:00PM Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Alabama Baptist Church Cemetery in Arcadia Louisiana. Glenn was the husband of the late Melva Davidson Pevetoand father of the late Gwendolyn Peveto. He is survived by his children Terry Peveto & wife Jennifer Peveto & Rickey Alan Peveto, his sister Lynell Peveto Carpenter and his grandchildren; Cody Peveto, Taylor Peveto, and Courtney Marie Peveto. He was preceded in death by his sisters Joan Peveto Alumbaugh and Carolyn Peveto Barnes.
