Harold Lewis Yoss

Harold Yoss, 86, of Vidor died Sunday, February 25, 2007 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. A native of Dorver, OH., he was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Carlsbad, NM., 10 years ago. He proudly served his country during WWII as a mechanic and later retired from the United States Air Force. He was a proud member of Vidor VFW post # 8246. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Prien Memorial Park in Lake Charles, LA. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his daughters Judy G. Peeples and her husband Joseph of Pomfret, MD., and Sherrill A. Avant and her husband Hugh of Carlsbad, NM., nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
