Harrison Wylie, Jr.

Harrison Wesley Wylie Jr., 66 died Wednesday, June 24th, 2015 in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor who worked a horse trainer and was an avid Houston Astros baseball fan. Harrison loved to fish, play golf and the Texas A&M Aggies. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He is survived by 3 brothers, Henry Wylie and Warren Wylie, both of Vidor, and Bobby Wylie and wife Diane of Buna, 3 sisters, Patricia Whitmire of Beaumont, Bonnie Stephenson and husband Karl of Vidor, and Mary Tinsley and husband Larry of Kirbyville, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison, Sr. and Olive Wylie, and a nephew, Wade Whitmire. Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
