Helen Louise Foreman

Helen Louise Foreman-Schafer, 80, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Vidor Health and Rehab.

Helen was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother whose life was centered around faith, family, and music. A lifelong Pentecostal, she found great joy in attending church, raising her children, and singing gospel songs that lifted the hearts of those around her. Her unwavering love and kindness were felt by all who knew her, and her warm spirit will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving children: Tony Broaddus, Dina Brown, Charles R. Putnam, Kathy Seigrist, Kristy Putnam, and John W. Putnam; her siblings Mary Turner, Donnie Palmer, Rocky Hollingsworth, and Vicky Hollingsworth; as well as 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.

Helen was preceded in death by her son Steve Foreman; her brothers Charles Hollingsworth and Ronnie Venson; and Raymond C. Schafer.

Her legacy of love, faith, and song will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
