Helen Frances Ross

Helen F. Ross, 78, of Vidor died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Lufkin, she has lived in Vidor since 1960, and was a homemaker. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Billy F. Ross, son Billy 'Bud' Ross, and her parents Leonard and Mary Smith. She is survived by her sons Wesley Ross and Ronnie Ross both of Vidor, brother Elmer J. Smith of Lufkin, and four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, per Helen's request, a college fund for her grandchildren has been set up at Dupont Goodrich Federal Credit Union.
