Huey Pierce Hampton Sr., 85, of Vidor, Texas died Saturday, September 24th, 2022 at his residence. he was a longtime resident of Vidor. He loved the outdoors, and sports, he loved the Astros, Cowboys, and NASCAR. His favorite driver was Rusty Wallace and the #2 car. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family was his main passion. Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Tuesday, September, 27th, 2022. Huey is survived by his son Huey P. Hampton Jr. and wife Dee of Beaumont, TX, his daughter Brenda C. Brown of Vidor, his sisters: Pearly Wilcox of Vidor, TX, and Joann and husband Charles Johnson of Vidor, TX, his brothers Bill and wife Bettye Bright of Kingsport, TN, James and wife Linda Bright of Vidor, TX, Joe Wayne Bright of Palestine, TX, as well as his grandchildren Aaron Hampton and Derek Hampton, and his great grandchildren, Christopher Hampton, Garrett Hampton, Taylor Hampton. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Elizabeth Bright.
