It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ivy Ruby Jones, a longtime resident of Vidor and the proud owner-operator of Ivy's Custom Upholstery Shop in Vidor. Ivy departed this world surrounded by love on Monday, January 29, 2024.

Ivy was a dedicated and talented businesswoman, leaving her mark on the community through her work at Ivy's Custom Upholstery Shop. Her passion for creativity extended beyond her professional life, as she also had a profound love for working with flowers and crafting beautiful furniture.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ivy found immense joy in spending time with her family. She cherished every moment shared with her loved ones and created lasting memories that will be treasured by those fortunate enough to have known her.

Funeral services to celebrate Ivy's life will commence on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will begin one hour before the funeral, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Following the service, Ivy will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Ivy is survived by her two devoted sons, Ronnie Davis and wife Nelda and Thomas Jones and wife Marilyn, both of Vidor, TX. Her family was a source of immense joy and pride for Ivy, and she found great happiness in the bonds she shared with her sons and daughters-in-law. The legacy of Ivy's warmth and love extends to the next generations, as she leaves behind a legacy of 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Each member of her extended family was a treasure to her, and the memories created together will forever be cherished. Ivy's nurturing spirit, creativity, and unwavering love will continue to resonate through the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her presence.
