James Allen 'Jack' Threadgill

February 9, 1930 — November 16, 2009

Jack Threadgill, 79, of Vidor died Monday, November 16, 2009 at Harbor Hopice House of Beaumont. A native of Port Arthur, he has lived in Vidor for 40 years and was a retired operator with Gulf Oil Refinery in Port Arthur. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a longtime member and usher of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Kirbyville Cemetery in Kirbyville, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Threadgill, parents Sam and Lillie Threadgill, and his brother Samuel Edward Threadgill. He is survived by his sons James G. Threadgill of Groves, Chris H. Threadgill of Nederland, and Robert W. Rogers of Vidor, daughters Kelly A. Fox of Brookeland, TX., and Jerri L. Russell of Vidor, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

12:00 p.m. at Kirbyville Cemetery in Kirbyville, Texas.

Visitation:
6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church of Vidor, 290 South, Vidor, Texas 77662
