James Clifton Harris

James C. Harris, 73, of Vidor died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Houston Hospice in Houston, TX. A native of Union, MS, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. James was in Coating Application and waterproofing. He served his country in the US Navy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, December 30, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. James was preceded in death by his sons Ricky and David Harris, brother Charles Ray Harris and sister Dixie Jo Pilgrim. He is survived by his son Mark James Harris and his wife Michelle of Vidor, TX, brother Bobby Frank Harris of Mauriceville, TX, sister Mary Charlette Woodard of Vidor, TX, grandchildren Benjiman Cliff Harris, Jacob Frank Harris, Tyler David Harris.
