Jimmy Picard, 61 of Vidor, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was a native of Port Arthur and longtime resident of Vidor. Jimmy was a committed Christian and active member of First Baptist Church of Vidor. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. He was a project manager for H. B. Neild. He enjoyed building and repairing just about everything he could get his hands on. Jimmy enjoyed riding his motorcycles and sketching in his spare time. He took pride in donating to many charities and Christian organizations. Visitation will begin at 6:00PM Thursday, March, 4, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, March, 5, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Jimmy is survived by his son, Charlie Picard and girlfriend Angela Ledford of Bridge City, TX; son, Brodie Picard and wife Samantha; two grandchildren, Norah and Lincoln Picard of Orangefield, TX; mother of his two boys, Kimberly Picard Boykin of Beaumont, TX; sister, Lona Primrose of Roganville, TX; brothers, Ted Picard of Vidor, TX, Paul Picard of Bridge City, TX and Darrin Picard of Seattle, WA.
