James Kenneth Gentry

James Kenneth Gentry, 78,of Vidor died Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Vidor. James served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, (elk, deer, moose and big game hunting especially) and fishing. He loved going in the mountains as well. He also enjoyed watching TV especially fox news. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 27th, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at Williamson Cemetery. James is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orsen and Lois Gentry, siblings Milton Gentry, Jesse Gentry, Lea Ila Cargill, Melba Deville, James Gentry and Virginia Williams.
