James Tedarel Daigle, 68, of Vidor, died Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. He was a longtime resident of Southeast Texas but has lived in Vidor for the past year. He retired from the U.S. Navy and circled the world 3 times while serving with the Navy. He loved photography and woodworking, talking about his experiences with the military, and most importantly spending time with his grandchildren. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Fuenral Home of Vidor. James' visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.Entombment of cremains will take place at 11:00 am Friday, February 17, 2023 at Houston National Cemetery Houston, TX. He is survived by his wife 26 years Rebecca Daigle of Vidor, TX, children Tracy Lambright of Houston, TX, Randall Heep of Vidor, TX, and Ashley Heep Craine of Dallas, TX, brother Mitchell Daigle of Mauriceville, TX, 8 grandchildren: Alexis, Ryane, Francis, Addyson, Riley, Emma, Paisley and Arielle, and 2 great grandchildren, bonus daughters: Sherry Robbins, Ashely Boyd, and Ashley Woods-Heep, and Julia Pelt and bonus grandchildren: Annabella Raz, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Brandye Gilliam, parents Newman and Hilda Daigle, brother John Al Daigle, and sisters Juanita Robbins, Janie Jones and Carolyn Bush.
