Janet Lynn Neukirch

Janet Lynn Neukirch, a beloved member of the Vidor community, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 18th, 2023, at the age of 64. Janet was a longtime resident of Vidor, where she formed lasting connections with many and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her.

Janet had an unwavering love for animals, especially her dogs, which she considered as her cherished babies. Her warm and welcoming nature meant that she couldn't meet a stranger. She found immense joy in spending time with her friends, creating countless cherished memories together. Janet's culinary talents were also celebrated, as she was known to be a fantastic cook, delighting friends and family with her delicious creations.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A celebration of Janet's life will take place on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The viewing will begin at 12:30 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM.

Janet is survived by her loving family, including her daughter Miranda Wright and Michael Nahmias of Ocean Springs, MS, her son Curtis Wright Jr. and wife Brandi of Vidor, TX, and her daughter Brandi Young and husband Dakota of Vidor, TX.

She is also survived by her sister, Joy Evans of Vidor, TX, her brother William M. Fontnow and wife Angele of Colmesneil, TX, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Lliam Pizarro, Emmelyn Wright, Aibree Wright, Isabelle Nahmias, River Wright, Eivin Nahmias, and Lana Skinner. Janet's memory will be carried on by numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Janet Lynn Neukirch was preceded in death by her parents, William D. and Anita Fontnow, her husband Carl Neukirch Jr., and her sister Sharon Fontnow.

Janet's kindness, love, and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends, and her legacy of compassion and friendship will live on.
