Jerry Youngblood

Jerry Youngblood, 69, of Vidor passed Monday, April 23, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Born in Port Acres, he has lived in Vidor all his life, and retired from Simco Construction of Groves in 2004. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1957 to 1960. He married his high school sweetheart Pat Hulett on May 29, 1957, and on May 29, 2007 they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Pat Youngblood of Vidor, son Rufus Youngblood and his wife Dian of Kerrville, and their daughter Amanda Youngblood. Daughter Sember Allen and her husband Matthew of Vidor, and their children Hunter Allen, Blaze Allen, Rhaeann Allen, and Chris Allen, sisters Becky Bean of New Ulm, TX., and Peggy Love of Katy, TX.
