Jesse Henry Mcgee

Jesse "Sonny" Henry McGee, 83, of Vidor died Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Hospital. He grew up in Kinder, LA but was a longtime resident of the Golden Triangle. He worked with the Local Union 195 as a pipe fitter and welder for 50+ years. Jesse served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, garage sales, fishing, and anything outdoors. Visitation for Sonny will be Saturday, December 5, 2020 beginning at 6:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Kinder McRill Cemetery in Kinder, LA. He is survived by his children Sherry Eileen Pippin of Vidor, TX, Patricia Denise and husband Mike Grissom of Vidor, TX, Nathan Darryl and wife Michelle McGee of Ft. Worth, TX, sister Barbara Ann Tate of Nederland, TX, brother Roger McGee of Enterprise, OR, 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren
