John Alman Denson

John A. Denson, 76, of Vidor died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Henderson, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1964, and was a retired owner-operator of Denson Enterprises. John was a member of First Christian Church in Vidor, a member of Blackmer F. & A.M. Lodge #422 in San Diego, CA., the El Mina Shrine of Galveston, and received the FFA State Farmers Award. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at First Christian Church in Vidor. John was preceded in death by his parents Alman and Ruth Nagel Denson, nephew Shawn Denson, niece Cindy Laughlin, and great nephew John James Laughlin. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Denson, and his brother Jimmy R. Denson and wife Mary all of Vidor, nieces and nephews: Jimmy Denson and wife Pam, Holly Hudgens and husband Tom, Candy Morgan and husband Michael, Calvin Laughlin, Curtis Lee Laughlin, Mitch Laughlin, and Pattie Denson, and many great nieces and nephews.
