John Fowler Richardson

John F. Richardson, 82, of Mauriceville passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Born on January 21, 1929 to Billy and Maggie Richardson. A native of Buna, TX, he graduated from Buna High School and played basketball for Lamar University on scholarship. He retired from Houston Chemical and P.P.G.. He is survived by his wife Rose, nieces and nephews, brother Lynn Richardson of Edison, NJ. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Buna, with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
