John Philip Mott

John P. Mott, 76, of Vidor died February 7, 2009 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Jasper, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. John was a retired minister, he was the minister of many local churchs, but he keep his membership at Shiloh Missionary Church in Vidor. He served his country in the US Army. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. John is survived by his wife Lillie Mott of Vidor, sons Randy Mott and his wife Susan of Nederland, TX, Mark Mott and his wife of Lyn of Missouri City, TX, daughters Cheryl Sherrill and her husband Butch of Vidor, TX, Rhonda Payne and her husband Steve of Vidor TX, Paula Davis and her husband Jeff of Nederland, TX, brothers Allen Mott of Orange, TX, Marvin Mott of Seagoville, TX, Arthur Mott of Jacksonville, TX, sister Doris Hamilton of Brookeland, TX, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
