Johnnie Sue Day

Johnnie Sue Day, 72, of Vidor, died Friday, October 29th, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and was attending Rose City Baptist Church. She loved taking care of her family and getting to spend time with them, especially her grandchildren, also loved cooking and singing. Her visitation will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. She is survived by her son Jimmy and wife Debbie Stanley of Warren, TX, sisters Kathy Blankenship of Vidor, TX, Ravanell Stanley of Vidor, TX, Abbie Bland of Lumberton, TX, brothers Billy Stanley of Vidor, TX, James Stanley of Vidor, TX, Bobby and wife Betty Stanley of Lumberton, TX, niece Sarah Watson and numerous other nieces and nephews, 4 grandchildren: Kati Stanley, Sara Wright, Kara Jordan, Wade Borel and 5 great grandchildren: Luka Jordan, Woodrow Jordan, Eli Jordan, Noah Wright, and Quinn Wright, and one grandpuppy Ziva Marie. She was preceded in death by her husband James Day, father Abbie Stanley, mother Essie Mae Stanley, sister Nelda Williamson, brother in law Jerry Blankenship, sister in law Peggy Stanley, niece Kim Burkett, and nephew Richard Watson.
