Jordan Heath White

July 15, 1986 — July 3, 2023

Jordan Heath White, beloved husband, and father, devoted but mischievous son, fiercely loyal, sometimes pesky little brother (in age, not in stature), a sure shot on any hunt, accomplished fisherman, and horrible golfer, was born on July 15th, 1986, and he parted this earth Monday, July 3rd, 2023, just shy of 37 years of age. Jordan White never met a stranger and almost always shirked tradition. As a toddler, his intrepid spirit led to him sneaking over to the neighbor’s house, and ended with his mother looking up in terror as he stomped around on the neighbor's roof. He continued blazing trails when he declared himself done with high school to pursue his career at Charley’s Subs. In spite of not heeding his parents’ warnings, he did, indeed, become successful at all he pursued. Jordan had his hand in many elements of the construction of hundreds of homes all across the Gulf Coast, and, after pivoting to the insurance industry, worked to become one of the most celebrated and accomplished professionals in his field, eventually earning his spot as number one in the nation. Jordan never saw an obstacle, only an opportunity. Jordan had a tender heart for all people. Need the shirt off his back? Take it. Need thousands of dollars? It was yours. Need a vacuum because you’re a poor college student and cannot afford one? You could expect the best vacuum to show up on your doorstep (Thanks bub. Love, Lauren). Need Jesus? You were going to hear all about Him and you were definitely going to church with him on Sunday. Jordan simply loved people, his family the very most, and he loved God, and God spoke to him, and God used him.

It’s no secret that Jordan had his struggles, but no matter whether you knew him during his lowest points or when all was well, or if you knew him as a friend or family member, you likely left impressed with these truths: Jordan loved Jesus; he was steadfast and unwavering in loyalty and love; he was generous to his core. He leaves behind a host of people who cannot imagine their lives without him, including: his beautiful wife, Ashleigh, and their three precious children, Madison, Jackson, and Taylor; his loving parents, Rodney and Libby White; his siblings Jared White, Jeremy Fletcher and wife Hannah, Lauren Neely and husband Daniel; grandmother Vickie Adams; and countless other precious souls touched by Jordan and how he lived his life.
