Josephine "Jo" Marie Campise Seals

Josephine “Jo” Marie Campise Seals, 82, of Vidor, passed away Monday, August 11th, 2025, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Born in Beaumont, she made Vidor her home for many years, building a life filled with hard work, laughter, and love for her family.

Jo dedicated more than 40 years as the office manager for Lamar Advertising, where her reliability and warm personality left a lasting mark on those she worked with. Outside of work, she was a passionate league bowler for over 50 years and enjoyed the camaraderie and fun the sport brought into her life. She also loved a good bingo game, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren,  great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her children: Darryl Seals and wife Christy of Vidor, TX; Debbie Galaviz of Vidor, TX; and Theresa Seals of Vidor, TX. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Tiffany Galaviz, Johnny Galaviz Jr., Stefanie Denby and husband Tracy, Nikki Riley and husband Patrick, and Blake Seals and wife Savannah; along with numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Seals, and her brother, Frank Campise.

Her kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
