She touched many lives with her generous heart, loving spirit, and overall passion for life during her time on earth.
She was a faithful servant of God who blessed her with a beautiful voice, that she used to worship Him. Singing in many churches, serving in prison ministry, with several groups or around the campfire. She was even honored to sing at Carnegie Hall.

In 1955, at age 16 she wrote the words to the Vidor High School Fight Song that is still sung today, 70 years later.
