Joyce Claudine Smith, 84, of Woodville died Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at Dogwood Trails Nursing Home in Woodville, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Mauriceville and spent her life as a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her husband and their grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a funeral service 10:00 AM Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. She is survived by her grandchildren, Chris Huff, Tiffany Hensarling, Brandon Lassiter, and Brittany Lyons as well as 9 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Smith, and her daughters Phyllis Lasster of Colmesneil, TX and Glenda Courmier of Lake Charles, LA.
