Joyce Evelyn Burge

Joyce E. Burge, 77, of Vidor died Monday, May 7, 2012 at her residence. A native of Baytown, TX., she has lived in Vidor for 60 years, and was a retired garden center cashier at Wal-Mart in Vidor. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Burge Cemetery in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Arthur R. Burge, Sr., son Johnny Ray Burge, and daughter Vickie Renea Burge Savant. She is survived by her son Arthur R. Burge, Jr and wife Donna of Vidor, seven grandchildren: Phillip Savant, Jr, Melissa Kershaw, Tiffany Burge, Cynthia Burge, Jonathan Ashey and wife Yolanda, Janice Stiles, and Billy Baldwin and eleven great grandchildren: Sierra, Courtney, Fayth, Gabriella, Serenity, Charisma, Destinee, Karlie, Michael, Isaac, and Elyce.
