Kathryn Welch

Kathryn "Kathy" Renee Welch, a beloved resident of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023 at the age of 59. She departed this world at Christus Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Kathy, as she was affectionately known, was born in Tyler, Texas. Kathy was a dedicated cook and waitress, She found solace in the outdoors, spending her leisure time gardening, observing birds, and tending to her beautiful flowers. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation, which will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm, also at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Following the service, Kathy will be laid to rest at The Cemetery in Mauriceville, her final resting place. Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Brittney Lynn Welch. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her son Charles Welch and his wife Crystal of Vidor, Texas. She is also survived by her sister Vicki Swire of Mauriceville, Texas, her brother David Burks of Onalaska, Texas, and her two grandchildren, Caden and Lela Welch.
