Katie Root

Katie Root, 86, of Vidor died Wednesday October 30, 2002 at Spring Seasons Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Calcasieu Parish, LA she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Mrs. Root was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons: Edrie Root and Albert Root both of Vidor, TX., Tommy Root of Porter, TX., daughters: Pat Simmons of Conroe, TX., Margie Stringer of Woodlands, TX., brothers: Jim and J.D. McDonald of Louisiana. 12 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
