Keevin Eric Jarrell Sr, 63, of Vidor, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Vidor.
Keevin was a longtime resident of Vidor and was self-employed for many years before retiring. He was a man who truly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—spending time outdoors, shooting pool, and firing up the grill to barbecue and cook for those he loved. Family was always at the center of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
One of Keevin’s greatest joys was being out on the boat, whether it was tournament fishing or fishing for fun, he loved being out on the water. From coaching his sons in baseball, to teaching his grandsons the love of the game, he was always dedicated to being present for his family.
He is survived by his sons, Keevin Eric Jarrell Jr. and wife Malorie of Vidor, Texas, and Aaron Evan Jarrell and wife Alexis of Mauriceville, Texas; his mother, Helen Jarrell Lazarus of Vidor, Texas; his brothers, Dennis Jarrell of Vidor, Texas, Mike Jarrell of Merryville, Louisiana, Randy Jarrell and wife Kay of Vidor, Texas, and Ronald Jarrell and wife Wanda of Vidor, Texas; and his four grandchildren, Carter Jarrell, Addilyn Jarrell, Kyler Jarrell, and Aceson Jarrell, who brought him endless joy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Keith Jarrell, and his brother, Larry Scott Jarrell.
Keevin will be remembered for his unforgettable laugh and warm smile. A presence that filled every room and made those around him feel instantly at ease. The memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
