Ken Luce, 76 of Vidor died Saturday, June 17th, 2017 at Altus Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Ken was a member of First United Methodist Church of Vidor and was a workaholic. He was a past Fire Marshall with the Orange Country Fire Department and was a past Commissioner of ESD #1. Ken served his country in the US Navy during the Cuban conflict Bay of Pigs. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home with cremation to follow. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Ken was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Beatrice Honey and daughter Darlene Michelle Luce. He is survived by his son Kenneth Robert Luce and wife Rose of Vidor, TX, daughters Dawn Marie Stewart and husband Ken of Venice, FL, Kendelle Contraveous and husband John of Chicago, Ill, Donna Diane Reed and husband Tim of Vidor, TX, Brandi Nicole Cervantes and husband Tony of Vidor, TX, longtime companion Susan Stevens of Vidor, TX, brother Ronald Luce and wife Carol of Vidor, TX, 11 grandchildren Lauren Hawkins, Kelsey Spelce, Vanessa Ramon, Bianca Luce, Victoria Luce, Leeann Luce, Dustine Duclion, Brandon Duclion, Michelle Reed, Russell Reed, and Jordan Cervantes, 10 great grandchildren Kallen Hawkins, Chyenne Hawkins, Mykenzie Ramon, Arian Ramon, Brenner Duclion, Tryce Duclion, Draven McCoy, Baby Cathey, Baylei Crawford and Dawson Copeland.
