Vidor

Kimberly "Kim" Ann Mitchem, 60, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Born in Beaumont, Kim was a longtime resident of Vidor and spent many years working as a legal assistant in the Beaumont area.

Kim had a vibrant spirit and a love for the outdoors. She felt most alive with the wind in her hair, riding four-wheelers—her absolute favorite pastime or spending a peaceful day out on the water in a boat. Whether it was a backroad or a bayou, Kim was always up for the ride. She also enjoyed listening to music, which often served as the soundtrack to her adventurous and joyful life.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Danny Mitchem of Vidor, TX, and her cherished daughter, Kaylin Michelle Mitchem, also of Vidor. Kim is also survived by her siblings: Mike Wagner of South Carolina, David Wagner of Houston, TX, Richard Wagner of Rosenberg, TX, and Sue Mihandoust of Houston, TX.

Kim will be remembered for her free spirit, her love of fun, and her deep devotion to her family.
