Kristine Jones

Kristine "Krissy" Danielle Jones, 14, of Vidor, passed away on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and attended Vidor High School.

From her very first breath, Krissy was deeply loved by many, bringing joy and light to everyone who knew her. She was a true daddy’s girl and her mom’s sunshine. Krissy took pride in being Kimperlee’s big sister. She loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, or just soaking in the fresh air. With a deep passion for music and a naturally creative spirit, Krissy expressed herself through her unique style, always putting care into her hair, makeup, eyelashes, and the vibrant way she presented herself to the world.

She is survived by her father, William Jones of Vidor, TX; mother, Kourtnie Gilbert of Vidor, TX; sisters, Kimperlee Gilbert of Vidor, TX, Parker Gilbert-Hansen of Atlanta, GA, and brother, Holden Turner of Buna, TX.

She is also survived by her grandparents, Jack and Patricia Gilbert of Beaumont, TX, and Bridget and Allen Piazza of Groves, TX; great-grandparents, Carolyn Gilbert of Vidor, TX, and Debbie Cantu of Holly Lake Ranch, TX; and great-great-grandfather, James Schafer of Holly Lake Ranch, TX.

Krissy leaves behind uncles Kolby Gilbert of Mont Belvieu, TX, and Gabriel Piazza of Groves, TX; aunts Faith Jones and Hope Jones, both of Vidor, TX; great-aunts Brandi Hennard of Eagle River, AK, Victoria Hanley of Buda, TX, and Sheila Swaim of Orange, TX; great-uncle Kyle Gilbert Hansen of Atlanta, GA; and cousins Trenton Kelley, Danny Jones, and Aulbreigh Williams.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Linda Jones, Danny Jones, and Billy Gilbert.

Krissy will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her adventurous heart, and the love she shared with everyone who knew her.
