Kyle Kapono Wong

Kyle Kapono Wong, 38, of Lumberton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 5th, 2021 at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena. He was a longtime resident of Southeast Texas and has been living in Lumberton for several years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Vidor. He served his country for 6 years with the US Navy. He loved Ohio State football and football in general, making people laugh, his job at Cat. Spec. Ltd., his friends and family and was very family oriented, loved Sea World in San Antonio and riding roller coasters, fishing, and going to the beach. The family will have a private memorial service set for a later date. He is survived by his wife of 4 years Jessica Wong of Lumberton, TX, children: Tatum, Dalton, Madison, Kyson, father Derrick and wife Laura Wong of San Antonio, TX, mother Donna Harvey of Lubbock, TX, and siblings: Amanda, Randy, Brittany, Michelle, Melissa, and Crystal. The family is requesting attendance to be limited to immediate family and for masks to be worn during the service. In leiu of flowers the family asks for donations to help cover funeral costs.
