With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Kyle Prak, who left this world far too soon on October 11, 2025, at the age of 24. Kyle was born on April 10, 2001, to Robert and Kim Prak, who will forever cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives. He was a bright light—kind, thoughtful, and full of quiet strength. Kyle’s laughter, warmth, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Kyle loved to travel, go fishing, attend concerts, cook, and play his guitar. He also enjoyed gaming with his friends, snowboarding, skiing, golfing, playing basketball, and working out. His love for music ran deep—it was a part of who he was. Everything Kyle did, he did with a smile—one that could light up any room and lift the spirits of everyone he met. His adventurous heart, passion for life, and caring nature reflected the beautiful soul he was.
He will be deeply missed by his loving parents and his devoted sisters, Katelyn Prak of Vidor and Alexis Mey of Sweden, who adored him beyond words. He will also be missed deeply by his grandparents, Kimberly Kan and Vannak Soeung of Vidor, Texas, and his grandmother, Hang Deng of Hollister, California. Kyle is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who loved him like family.
Kyle was preceded in death by Luke Lapray, his best friend in the whole world; his beloved cousin Brandon Kan; and baby cousin Calvin Soeung. Their memories brought him comfort, and now they are reunited in eternal peace.
Though his time with us was short, Kyle’s life was filled with meaning. He will be remembered for his big heart, his loyalty to family and friends, and the way he made every moment brighter simply by being there.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor, Texas. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Turning Point Church. Rest peacefully, dear Kyle.
You will forever remain in our hearts—loved beyond measure, missed beyond words.
